winner Whitney Thompson had her sights set high upon venturing into America's Next Top Model waters. From day one, the Atlantic Beach, FL, student, who is a size 10, wanted to be the first full-figured model to win the series. "My biggest goal is to try to change the mindset of women so they feel like they don't have to starve themselves and diet all the time to be beautiful," she explains. "I'll do everything to get my name out there so people all over the world can see that you don't have to be skinny—you can enjoy the body you have and that is what makes you beautiful."

We love the fact that after 10 cycles of the show, the title of America's Next Top Model has finally been awarded to a woman with curves, and that Whitney Thompson is up to the challenge of leading a crusade to spread body confidence to millions of women. We interviewed the newly crowned winner and found her to be down-to-earth, open and someone we can all relate to—especially when it comes to her must-have fashion and beauty items. Whitney describes her style as fun, classic and girly, she cherishes comfortable footwear (but will suffer a day in stilettos to look fabulous) and says she just can't live without her butt-hugging denim.

Read on to see what else Whitney wears to create her signature style.

Q: Why did you want to become a model?
A: I wanted to change the image of the fashion industry. I wanted to change the way people viewed their bodies and beauty.

Q: What does beauty mean to you?
A: To me, beauty is something that radiates from the inside and out. It's also having a purpose to what you are doing. It's this inner light that [other people] can see—a radiance.

Q: If we were to look inside your makeup bag or purse, what would we find?
A: CoverGirl Trueblend Foundation (I really like it! It blends and evens out [your skin] so there's no streaking when you're on the go.); CoverGirl Wetslicks in Clear Radiance; CoverGirl Eye Enhancers in Country Winds; CoverGirl Line Exact; and CoverGirl Lash Blast.

Q: What beauty product can you not live without?
A: Aveeno Positively Radiant Moisturizer—it has light enhancers in it and SPF.

Q: What item of clothing can you not live without?
Raven Denim Jeans because they make my butt look good. They're the perfect length to wear with stilettos.

Q: Aside from your Raven Denim Jeans, tell us five things in your closet that you absolutely love?
A: My black Prada Nero shoes, any pair of Rock & Republic jeans and my big black Jimmy Choo handbag.

Q: If you and your girlfriends were to go out on the town. What would you wear?
A: I'd probably wear jeans, stilettos, a tank top, a cute jacket over that, and some great vintage jewelry.

Q: Which trend are you loving right now?
A: I love the chunky heel. You can wear them longer than stilettos and they are way more comfortable.

So what's next for Whitney Thompson? The blonde bombshell gets a contract with Elite Model Management, a gig as America's newest "CoverGirl," and a cover shoot for Seventeen Magazine as a result of winning the competition. The supermodel-in-the-making considers this win as just the beginning of her mission. "Winning was a big step towards something great ... being able to change the fashion industry," she says. "I'm already getting [work] that most plus-size models don't normally book." America will be watching.
