Tracy Reese Collection Autumn/Winter 2008/2009 New York Fashion Week
A visit to the “Duchamp, Man Ray, Picabia” exhibit at the Tate Modern helped spark Tracy Reese’s spring collection, which featured her new high-end Tracy Reese Black Label line, interspersed with her signature line. While the show got off to a serene start with flowy “teardrop blue” chiffons and harem pants, she also played with rich hues and embellishment. But Reese, who knows how to deliver pretty dresses, then let loose with a group of fantasy florals, giving the bloom treatment to trenches, cinched-waist party frocks and crystal-bedecked gowns.
Pink chiffon mini skirt made entirely of flowers.
It was OK that the models stumbled in their 80s-inspired pumps, because each look that came down the runway was drool-worthy.
