In a nod to the Giorgio Armani Privé woman, hairstylist Paul Hanlon concocted a highly sophisticated, glamorous look for the fall-winter 2008-2009 haute couture show. Models’ hair, parted to the side, was from the front reminiscent of Veronica Lake’s. Around the back there was a froth of curls.
“We wanted to make it modern, almost like a loosely twisted tail,” said Hanlon.
“Mr. Armani wanted something quite ethereal,” continued makeup artist Linda Cantello, adding, “No hard lines. He kept saying he wanted Champagne colors.”
